2022 URKER Award Ceremony kicks off: October 28, 2022, 6:13 p.m.
ASTANA. KAZNFORM – A ceremony to award the URKER 2022 National Prize in the field of print media, radio and Internet journalism has started in Astana, reports the correspondent of Kazinform.
The ceremony takes place within the framework of Astana Media Week. Applicants must compete in 13 nominations.
A total of 544 works, most of them applying for “Best article on a social subject”, “Best interview of the year”, “Best analytical document of the year” and “Best report of the year” were presented.
The jury includes senior journalists, media managers and international media experts.
The winners will receive a certificate, an URKER statuette and a cash prize of one million tenge. 52 nominees have been shortlisted to win the URKER award.
Established in 2017, the Kazakhstan National URKER Award is given for achievements in print, radio and internet journalism to celebrate talented journalists and creative teams, to recognize their contribution to the development of journalism professional and draw the attention of the general public to their work. .
The award ceremony is organized by the Ministry of Information and Social Development of Kazakhstan and the enterprise fund “Media Damytu Kory”.
