Beloved Italian gift brand THUN has come to Valletta

Thun decor has been an integral part of Italian homes since 1950, and the brand has now landed on our shores. With over 1,000 stores spread across Italy and the rest of the world, this fast-growing international franchise has added Valletta to its list of outlets.

A leader in the gifts and accessories industry, THUN Malta opened its doors on the corner of Place Saint-Jean with Rue Zachary on July 8th. The store is a treasure trove that offers a wide range of ceramics, ornaments and kitchen wares, ideal for the home, gifts or keepsakes for you or your loved ones.

Designer Lene Thun founded the brand in 1950. Inspired by the angelic sight of her sleeping boys and the Angel of Bozen, which is somewhat known as the symbol of the city of Bozen, she created distinctive ceramic figures evoking the warmth and magic of childhood.

Their products are both functional and decorative, with a quality of craftsmanship that symbolizes love and affection. Joseph and Ray Buttigieg wanted to bring the feeling of joy that is imbued with the brand closer to home.

“We wanted to offer our customers something more: special memories that would help them keep cherished moments a little longer… In THUN we found a product whose message is close to ours: a product that evokes feelings of warmth and tradition. , class and elegance.”

THUN Malta will soon become your go-to store for any kind of housewarming gift, birthday trinket or just because gift.
