Cheryl L. Faugno, 50, from Marlborough
Marlborough – Cheryl Lynn Faugno, 50, a longtime resident of Marlborough, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 27, 2021 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester.
Cheryl was born in Framingham, MA on September 23, 1970, daughter of Kenneth P. Faugno and the late Ruth M. (Wilson) Faugno. She grew up in Marlborough, where she attended school and graduated from Marlborough High School. She then attended Quinsigamond Community College and Fisher College, where she obtained an associate’s degree in early childhood education. Cheryl loved children and taking care of them as a nanny was a career that brought her a lot of joy and satisfaction.
Cheryl also had a love of books and reading, which she inherited from her mother. She loved to collect the porcelain dolls and figurines that were on display in her house. Cheryl also loved animals and especially loved her cat. Although she did not have children of her own, she loved her niece and nephew as if they were her own and was always very proud of their accomplishments, including their many athletic achievements. In addition to her father, Kenneth P. Faugno, she is also mourned her beloved twin sister, Stacey Thomas and her husband Paul “Smokey” Thomas of Belgrade, ME; his niece, Olivia Thomas; his nephew, Jacob Thomas; her aunt Llnda Soriano and her husband Richard of Hudson and her uncle Frederick Faugno and his wife Mary of Waltham. She was also predeceased by several aunts and uncles.
Visiting hours will be Monday October 18, 2021 from 10 am to 11 am at the Tighe-Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. The funeral will follow at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Forest Vale Cemetery, Hudson, MA.
