Linda Marie Ludvicek, 59, of Swisher, Iowa, passed into the loving arms of her Savior early in the morning on August 18, 2021. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday August 26 at Castek Cemetery, four miles to west of Swisher on 120th St., NW. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service at Cedar Rapids is helping the family.

Linda was born December 15, 1961 in Bloomfield, Iowa, daughter of Clarence “Jr” and Karen (Boley) Stonebraker. She graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1980. On August 22, 1980, Linda married Paul Ludvicek in Ottumwa, Iowa. Linda worked as a waitress at the Brick Haus restaurant in the Amana settlements. She ran on track in high school and later in life ran marathons. She also loved to collect porcelain figurines of black and white cows. From a young age, Linda put her faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior.

Linda is survived by her husband, Paul Ludvicek of Swisher; son, Jeremy Ludvicek of Swisher; his parents, Clarence “Jr” and Karen Stonebraker of Bloomfield; three sisters, Sheila (Denny), Teresa and Lisa (Steve); two nieces, Megan (Shaun) and Alicia; great-nephew, Michael; three great-nieces, Morgan, Mackenzie and Mallory; and his companion and loyal dog, Buddy.

Linda was predeceased by a great-nephew, Logan.
