Our 20 Favorite Photos from Ann Arbor Art Fair 2021
ANN ARBOR, MI – With the three-day festival wrapped up, photographers at MLive / The Ann Arbor News take a moment to reflect on the Art Fair 2021 cover.
The annual art festival once again drew hundreds of vendors and thousands of guests to downtown Ann Arbor from July 15-17, making up for its cancellation in 2020 due to COVID-19, and bringing the city back in its usual summer rush.
Many performers said Thursday, July 15, that they had had their best-selling opening day in years – possibly due to attendees keen to have the opportunity to mingle with the public after the pandemic. As in years past, the rain came on Friday July 16 to temporarily dampen the event, but customers and sellers returned on Saturday July 17 for a successful conclusion under sunny skies.
As always, the cornerstone of the summer season of the Ann Arbor festivities was bright and colorful visuals. Check out the moments below for a photographic recap of the 2021 art fair.
