HUBBARD – Patricia Sarah King, 83, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at her residence from heart failure.
Patricia was born in Warren on February 12, 1938, daughter of Merle and Ruth Watkins Joseph and had lived in this area most of her life.
Patricia graduated from Niles McKinley High School and attended Youngstown State University for two years, earning an associate’s degree in accounting.
She retired from Second National Bank, Warren, after 17 years of service in the accounting department. After her retirement, she enjoyed traveling mainly to California, Mexico, Hawaii and Las Vegas. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and collecting porcelain dolls and various figurines.
Patricia especially cherished family gatherings and loved her grandchildren and got involved in their many activities.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Frank C. King, whom she married on June 24, 1974; two daughters, Brenda Newlin-Globeck of Liberty and Bambi and Reid Harrington of Toledo; three loving grandchildren, Aaron Globeck, Alexandria Globeck and Callan Harrington; and her sister, Candace Trudell of Cleveland.
She was predeceased by her sister, Beverly Price.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, Niles, on Friday, October 1, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday October 2, 2021 at 10:30 am, with Reverend Richard Murphy of St. Stephen’s Church presiding.
Interment will follow services at the town of Niles cemetery.
